I saw an article this morning that stated that the first Tizen phone, originally set to release in March, has either been delayed or scrapped. Is this true, @CodeWizard@dgackey?
If so, does this have any affect on us and our incentives ?
Ok, I am still getting rejections for my apps at Tizen due to a bigger size of screen. I user firstly Overscan and than Scratch feature - and still the result is the same one. Any recommendations what to do?
"Saving is failed. Please try again."<----- When trying to upload binaries. Checked all the variables I could think of (making new binaries, changing widget identifies/version#/display name)
I just ran into "Saving is failed." error when modifying a project that was rejected and trying to upload a new binary. Just delete the rejected app and create a new one and it works.
@Chakku had the same problem when uploading a binary to replace one that was rejected, but what mattrouse1 states works. Are you uploading one for a new app or replacing one that was already uploaded?
Anyone had a game which uses the accelerometer approved?
My first is nearly ready...
I've just got a couple of 'Back Button' issues to resolve... i.e. the back button won't work when I tell it to change a game attribute... which is needed to go back a stage... gonna try it 'the way round other'...
Think I'm also suffering from a sound file bug too... sound effects seem to play in the emulator... but not the wav background music.
Going to try and publish my game even though the music won't play in the emulator... all sounds effects do. The music file is a wav... hopefully it'll work on a Tizen device?
It may be already answered somewhere but I could not find it.
My app has been rejected because the back button issue. I fixed it regarding the cook book.
When I try to upload the new binary it says "saving failed" at the end of he loading process.
I read in this forum that you have to delete the old binary. But I can't find these option on the tizen page.
How to delete an already upload binary? Or should I delete the whole app project on the tizen page? In this case will I still be able to use the app name again?

My app was rejected because a tag wouldn't change which allowed an actor to stay live and keep destroying other actors when it should be dead. The game works fine in iOS and Android so it is a bug. I submitted a bug report a couple of days ago but I haven't got a reply yet.

Thanks @eliteapps but i don't want to delete my app as i'll lose the name, just upload a new binary thats all.
I think you get the issue in part because of the upgrades made to the tizen seller portal. I deleted 5 of mine and just kept all the names for the new app. It isn't like Apple appstore Providing to delete 1 at a time and re-create I would not expect any problems.

@StormyStudio My app which uses the accelerometer got rejected by the Tizen App Store ... I thought the reason was going to be something to do with the accelerometer but it wasn't. The rejection was due to the device going to sleep as a result of no touch. I have logged a support case with GS but there is no fix for this at the moment. We just have to wait and keep our eyes on the forums for when an update comes out. The same problem exists with Android ie the device will go to sleep if the screen is not touched but that has not gotten in the way of approving accelerometer based apps on Amazon. I think this issue will affect all apps which use the accelerometer which get submitted to Tizen. If ones have been approved it is pure luck as they are very strict and take a long time to go through the approval process. I also suggest you change the format of the sound file in your game and see if you can get it to work. There was a bug where some sound files were not being picked up by the engine but a recent update came out to address the issue. Submit your accelerometer app and see how you go. I am gonna wait before I resubmit mine. Hope this helps. Cheers ... ;-)
@BigDave@Beefy_clyro If you want to delete the binary it's pretty basic. All you do is: in the tizen udk program that you use to sign your apps, locate the folder the signed tizen app is held into/where you get it from then delete the game folder example: the game is called "happy So you delete the folder "happy"
Now you should be able to upload your app "happy" into the tizen udk to sign it
There seems to be a bug with the 'Play Music' behaviour not playing sound files (I'm using WAVS'.
But the 'Play Sound' behaviour works as normal.
So I've gone through and changed any 'Play Music' behaviours to 'Play Sound' and turned on Loop. * I also re-imported the sound files and chose short sound clips rather than clips longer than 30 seconds, as I assume it is encoded differently by GameSalad.

@CodeMonster Yeh this part is fine. Its when you resign the new binary and try to upload it to the Tizen portal on the rejected game itself, that's where the problem lies.
@beefy_clyro If you want to replace a rejected binary file on the Tizen portal you don't need to delete it just hit the upload button and upload the new binary it will overwrite the rejected one. If I understood correctly this should sort you out. Cheers ;-)
