Damn! Now you will all see how much I suck at playing games.
By the way, nice implementation of GC, however I saw you didn't use any on/off button for it.
I just have a question for the scores did you put a system for previous player to have their previous hard made highscore posted on GC or it will post only if you have a new highscore?
Man these leaderboards really add the competitive edge that Air Supply needs. I played this game waaaaaay too much yesterday! And enjoyed every second of it.
Oh, except when I made a highscore and it somehow didn't make it to Game Center. It made me sad and I'm not quite sure why that happened.

Thanks!
I could have done. It was a design decision - mainly, as it's a new feature, to have a level playing field for those new to the game as well as the old guard!

Oh - *you're* rabidbadger1!
You need to play a bit more. 96 Metres is akin to pressing play then dying about five seconds later!
@all - I'm not sure how much it'll affect sales - but what I did personally find (like a lot of you) is that it adds another addictive element to a game. It's a GOOD thing, and thanks to the GameSalad crew for putting it in!

Also, my scores don't seem to be posting, anyone else having this issue? I only see my old score...
I think sometimes, depending on your connection, it can take a few seconds to upload the new score.
Also, GameCentre itself sometimes takes a while to upload - I didn't see you at no.1, for example, for a good 10-20 minutes after you said you'd got it!
butterbean said: Yeah I have a best run of 14,334 in the top left corner of the title screen, but it didn't post to game center... and it's been over a full day
This happened to me once when I got a highscore of around 9,000ish. I was sooo mad. The next morning I smashed that record and that time it actually posted. Sorry butterbean I feel your pain. Because of incidents like this I'm considering adding a post high score button rather than automatically doing it for my game.
What *I'd* like to see is a confirmation - like openfeint - when you get a high score, a small bar appears at the top of the screen and says 'new high score' - which shows that it's been posted.
I think that would help - because right now, posting to GameCentre is invisible to the user (unless, as you suggest, you put in a 'submit score' button. But even then, you won't be sure without some feedback!).
Hope it's not spoiling things too much for people. As I mentioned, if I know I've got a high score when I die, I don't touch anything for about 4 seconds to make sure it's posted as a temporary work-around!
It's not ruining it for me, it's just making me think of ways to try and avoid this in the future. If the problem is simply making sure to not do anything when posting then maybe a pop up (pause screen could be a good idea.) It could say "Posting Score please wait for I don't know like 5 seconds and then go back to the end round screen." Sorry I'm not trying to highjack your thread here just coming up with ideas.

Score: 11,533
#1... for now
There are now a grand total of 31 people to beat! Woo etc!
Wish I'd had this at launch to be honest - it would have certainly helped the numbers!
Around 300 people upgraded yesterday, so hopefully some will play it again and try and beat a score or two

Edit-my GameCenter scores aren't updating

Are you checking the last two leaderboards? They're overall score for Air Supply and Fuel Supply modes. The other leaderboards are individual colours!

And if your experience of GameCentre in my game makes you think about how to better implement it in your own games, then it's been useful!
Good idea about the pause screen though - I like that!
