Hi quantumsheep, we just bought Air Supply and it's awesome! We really like the 'retro style' and also gameplay, music and art! Congrats and good luck for the sales!
Maybe you saw we are developing an adventure game Escape from LaVille and we'd like to know what you think about it, if you want
I like the look of your game, but I'd like to play it before giving my opinion! Adventure games are very much about the puzzles and invoking a certain atmosphere I feel. Looking forward to giving it a try!
I got a video review out of the blue for Air Supply! It's worth a watch, just because the guy hums along with the music a bit, which is awesome!
That was a really interesting article, we seem to have a similar taste in games so I'm already wishing that SOS wasn't iPad only but hopefully you will release it for iphone at some point and at least I still have the sequel to look forward to Also, When will v1.2 for air supply be coming out, you said you were hoping to finish it this week "ish" ?

Can I have it back, please?

Thanks for the kind words!
1.2 is taking longer than I thought - it's lots of little changes and stuff. I want to get it right, as the menu systems and variable handling will form the basis for SOS and AS2 (with changes of course - but it's nice to have a foundation, rather than having to do it all over again!).
It's bug hunting and adding some nice little touches. For instance, one gentleman on Touch Arcade wanted the buttons not to fade out at all, something I'd never considered.
So I put that option in, as well as an option to vary the opacity of the controls if that's the option you choose!
I'm also making better use of the Pause feature to lighten the load times with any luck
I'm sorry for the delay, but hopefully it'll submit to Apple this week and be out next week sometime.
Then there's 1.3 to contend with... and I'm looking forward to putting GameCentre in there as well at some point!

Ha ha, compared to my experience with 148apps, 3.5 does seem like a great score. The biggest complaint seems to be the lack of Game Center. That's more of a limitation with GameSalad — which should be remedied soon.
8BitGrenade said: Bought the game. Very polished. Really liked the extras you added such as the necessity of air and the unlockables.
Cheers - much appreciated! I hope you liked it?
I just submitted v1.2 - yay! It includes:
*Added a new short and sweet track by Mister Beep - this gives the game an awesome 1bit soundtrack of 8 chiptunes in total. *Added user requested option to allow buttons to remain visible. This can be found in 'options' under 'control settings' *Added ability to adjust opacity of 'always visible' control graphics. *Reduced amount of stats visible at game end. You can still see the full stats by pressing the button in the top right hand corner of the game over screen. *reduced loading times slightly *Some tiny bug fixes
I just bought your game yesterday and it's a really good one.:) Very addictive, reactive and I really like the graphics: very simple and very esthetic.
And making a black and white game for Iphone is so elegant. Congratulations!

The music is by a guy called 'Mister Beep' - he does 1bit music - which fit in perfectly for this game!
I'm using him exclusively for future projects as well!
Genius!

Congrats again for AS, it's very addictive!
It drives me crazy!(but my record sucks..)
As predicted, sales seem to be turning southward now that it's not on N&N anymore. Hopefully I'll get some more reviews in!
v1.2 should be done this weekend (ish) then straight onto v1.3
After that it'll be a new iPad only Air Supply game that Mr. Funkleberry's helping me with, then Air Supply 2 with Basil.
I think, after that, I'll give Spaceman Sam a rest!

Dear Gamesalad,
Can we have GameCenter now please? I needed it about a month ago, apparently!

Yes, where's Game Center.... Air Supply is a perfect example of a game that demands GameCenter!
Lump Apps and My Assets
Did you request it?
They don't always review every game though. We were lucky to get some interest from them for Gravitrixx and now Air Supply!
Here's *another* review - a lovely 5 stars!
