I couldn't work out why Flappy Bird was such a phenomenon, but then when I was playing along with all those other Flappy Birds I had an epiphany!
It is the perfect metaphor for our very own human existence.
We all set out full of hope and excitement on life's journey with no real destination or idea what we are trying to achieve. Then one by one we all fall by the wayside as we are struck down by life's giant pipes.
But some carry on flying and these few seem to be flying in a different way than the others, they seem to have found the secret to avoiding the nasty pipes (the cheating B*****ds)
In our own way, we are all just little Flappy Birds.
