It's not made with GS, but I had to tell :-)

Comments
Is it made by you, or a company your work with, or a few people your end?
What was it made with?
How have sales been since its been in the top rankings?
Do you think it could have been made in GS,?
or is pixel collison needed for the terrain and object linking needed for suspension?
Looks like it has some nice graphics.
It is 3D
We don't have sale data yet, but I will report.
It was made by two of our friends, whos games my company publishes.
It can't be done in GS unfortunately :-(

I added this to the main post too.
There is a free version of it, which was released a few months ago and downloaded over 600.000 times. People liked it and asked for more.
We took the best ideas and realised them in a paid version. We have let people know that the paid version is coming, so they were already waiting for it.
For the full version we didn't do any advertisement, just posted it on touch arcade forum after release and on promo dispenser.
Moving upwards like crazy :-P
We will own the appstiore! Yeah baby! :-)
oh just seen it in Games, simulation on Uk appstore on phone....no.13
congrats....
number 5, in racing...
I only watch US. Everything else is only peanuts :-P
Nr1 in Simulation
Nr 11 in top paid games
Nr 13 in top overall paid apps
I am so curious.
Maybe I keep it and disappear in barsil with two hot chicks :-P
First review is from 20 october. I don't remember exactly when it was released.
As for every other country being peanuts, it hurts, it may be true. But ouch . From my one app I still get more uk sales than US, and quite a few Australian. A few Canadian too. not sure why. It's a universal app. Anyway. After a night of ten steps back one forward on my game development and holding a crying baby for most tHe night it's time to hit the hay.
Any plans to make the game in other languages, Spanish must be pretty popular?
And please don't tell me that I am offending again, just because I say "peanuts", because if you start it again, I become angry.
Anyway...
We also wanted our games to be popular in hungary and we thought, we will be, because people will have some sort of loyality for the own people, but nothing. We rather were pulled down, which is rather a mentality thing for hungarian people , than not being in the us, but anyway...
We stopped to make games in other languages than in english, because it was not worth it.
Alpine Crawler is in english, german and hungarian, but only because it is not much text in it.
Everything what comes from outside is nice, but not really countable. At least not for small apps.
We will see, what this game made outside of the US :-)
Congrats:)
Cheers, Weswog
I just woke up and checked. We are in overall top paid too :-)
Around 12 pm GMT+1 i will get the sales data. I am curious :-)
(and no, was not offended by peanuts comment, was going for a sarcastic 'ouch', but it never really works in text.)
I wonder how big the Spanish speaking iphone app market is? may have to Google that, is'nt it the 3rd widest spoken language? Obviously the U.S. is the biggest slice of pie, but imagine having all the pie?
Never mind.

Of course I am happy if I sell all over the world, but from the economic side it is not worth it to translate a RPG into german or french, because it costs too much time and money and the revenue is not in proportion to it.
Alpine Crawler World generated 3 french reviews, 18 german reviews 1 japan review and 1 review from a few other countries. Spain is not in this group.
I know, review numbers are not something you can rely on, but it is an indicator, how people buy and care.
In the first 1-2 hours the sales looked like this (first is revenue, second is downloads):
United States €1,090.17 / 2,137
Canada €103.10 / 208
Colombia €4.65 / 9
United Kingdom €3.58 / 9
France €3.84 / 8
Mexico €2.07 / 4
Germany €1.44 / 3
Italy €0.96 2
Luxembourg €0.96 / 2
Norway €0.96 / 2
Ireland €0.48 / 1
Sweden €0.48 / 1
Spain €0.48 / 1
Finland €0.48 / 1
Chile €0.52 / 1
Austria €0.48 / 1
Now, what this is telling me? Go and figure :-)
But let's wait for today's data.
Well done btw, it's great to hear success stories.
