    An Update:

    Beta testing and Multi-languages

    Sooooooo ... i didn't update this thread for a while , but that doesn't mean i had no progress :)
    I can finally say the "story mode" of the game is FINISHED !!
    In my last update i've mentioned I had 4 things left to do :
    1) Finish up 2 boss modes
    2) Finish up the 'spells' effects
    3) English grammar correction for the text conversation
    4)Finish up the marketplace

    All is done! except for the in game marketplace which I'll start working on this week.

    Also, im searching for some Beta testers , so if you are interested please contact me

    Or leave a comment in here. I'm looking for some serious members to test the game as you all know this is one hell of a project!

    Moreover, I want the game to support multiple languages ,
    Hopefully to bring support to as much languages as possible but we'll start with Japanese, spanish, french and italian.

    Thanks for all the kind words guys!!

    An update:
    In the past week the game has been translated (almost all done) from English to :
    French , Italian , Spanish and Japanese ! That means 5 languages support ;)

    While all the story mode and the menus are finished, I still have work to do on the marketplace in the game.
    The "Golden Gems" in the game functions as 'money' to buy new swords, Unlock new spells and buy new items to hold or life and mana packs , all to increase the powers of the heroes.

    I have few members that volunteered for beta testing, if you want to join the beta circle please contact me!
    The first beta will be out soon.

    Hey guys,
    A small update about the game-
    In the last few weeks Ive finished implanting all the different languages in the game as well as playing it myself to eliminate the first set of bugs, I'm still fighting few bugs that appeared due to a new code conflicts with some old code (7 months ago code), some aspects of the game had to be redone to make the necessary fixes..
    Still few more bugs to solve.

    The market place is done!

    I've decided that I will wait for the new LUA free engine before releasing the game, cause the additional animations and sound effects ,along with the extended use of particles, caused many glitches even on iphone 4S , so hopefully the new engine will handle all this better ;)

    About the beta testing :
    Since a new creator version is right around the corner, and it brings support to iPhone 5 , I would like to first make the needed changes to support the new resolution before sending out the first betas.
    Sorry for the delay.

    Also, I'm happy to announce the game now has official name and I've even wrote a description ;) it's a great feeling to get to this point!

    I'll update this post later today with a new sneak peek to the game showing you the oppening scene, some of the menus and the in-game market!

    Im having doubts about something and I would love to hear your opinion :
    In the game there is a "reset game" button, now obviously It will not reset things like golden gems and sapphire/emerald gems that could be bought through IAP , (I dont want costumers to get annoyed)
    But, aside from reseting all the game elements and game progress, do you think it should reset all the items that have been bought in the game-store? e.g swords and spells and items to hold? those items are NOT bought with IAP, you buy them with golden gems..

    the thing that will happen if i don't reset the game-store is that the player will start a new fresh game with advanced abilities from his previous session , do you think its the right thing to do?
    Game is looking PRO! Will be a fun when released for sure!!

    Hi Roy,

    Great job, it was fun to see how you used the store template.

    I think having 3 game slots that you can continue or start a new game might be better than a reset button. 'Kingdom Rush' did it very good.

    However, it might mean some extra work for you.

    While you all know the game is basically done , ive been fine tuning almost everything i can in the past few weeks, cleaned up some of the code , and fixed a huge list of bugs , I've played the game 3 times now from start to finish and it took me and average of 6 hours to finish it, the first play from start to finish took 7.5 hours of gameplay!! which is amazing IMO .
    Also, i counted all the puzzles that needs to be solved throughout the game and I've reached 44! There are 44 puzzles to solve in the game! thats an incredible achievement by itself ;)

    Still waiting for GS to introduce their LUA free engine, im not gonna release this masterpiece with the current engine.

    Indeed my friend , the template helped a lot and i love the result , ive added few more things since then to make the market more interactive . thanks a lot!
    Ive decided to go with the "reset game" button , i never got this "3 game slots" thingy, i see it in many games but i never use it.. anyway, i made the reset button in a way that it resets only the game progress and not the market bought list. (dont want to annoy any customer after all)

    maybe you should make a little popup that asks the user when they're resetting the game if they want to reset everything, or just the story mode and keep the store's progress

    My purpose with the reset was just like you said, to reset everything except IAP , but the problem is I can't really tell what has been bought through IAP and what's not, what if a person just purchased 20,000 golden gems via IAP and then upgraded the heroes with awesom weapons and abilities, on the other hand, what if a player earned those 20,000 golden gems throughout the game and used them to upgrade, I can't really tell which did what , so I've decided to not erase the in game market purchases.
    Any other idea would be greatly appreciated .

    Haha thanks man, the game file is standing on approximately 130mb, it has about 21.7 mb of epic battles, 60mb of challenging quest, 15.3mb of cool surprises and added features, and about 53mb of pure, well coded, fun ;)

    It's looking great! Keep me in mind, too. I have an iPhone 3GS (which I really need to replace with something newer...), iPod 4th Gen, and an iPad 2.
