Rabbit Run - EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW & TRAILER!!

We are proud to present the exclusive preview of Rabbit Run to all of you loyal GS members :)

We've been working hard over the last 2 months learning how to get everything done and having great fun learning in the process.

We've acquired stunning character graphics from Ian (everything else is in-house), great audio and sound effects from Matt V, and an simply awesome trailer from ToastKitten! These are all people we have met within this community and without them, Rabbit Run wouldn't be a 10th of the game that it is today :)

So without further of due, here is the first showing of the screenshots, and more importantly, the OFFICIAL TRAILER :D

It's been submitted and release date is set for 1st September 2010 (as long as Apple do their thing in time!) so would appreciate all the support we can get from you guys :) Somebody has gotta challenge Bumps! hey! :P

    Another one to add to my list!!!

    My week off after Bumps 1.1 is going to be games games games.

    The video is amazing and i love the art and animations.

    The rotating Sun Beams look great i couldn't take my eyes off it.

    Everyone is spot on with their speculation on Rabbit Run. I was sent a version of the game when working with the developer. It really is as crisp as it looks in the screenshots! Even more stunning is how addicting the game is!

    Rabbit Run will be another great game from GS, I'm sure of it :)

    Yes we are, we decided that it was worth it for what we wanted to so, and plan to release more games over the coming months.

    Ah, that explains it. Dang, was hoping for Facebook/Twitter integration... not that I'll ever pay that kind of cash for pro... LOL.

    The controls were something that took a while to configure, to the point where we were happy that it was somewhat realistic, and also challenging. The left section of the screen (over the rabbit) is used as a touch section to control elevation (tap to go up, let go to drop) and the larger right side of the screen used to fire carrots.

    I think we got it right in the end and I would say that it is very challenging, whilst still being easy to pick up but hard to master :)

    That's interesting!

    'Project AIR' has a similar premise where you have one guy running and gunning. The control system is similar (he jumps on left, fires on the right).

    Simple is sometimes best!

    Is this a project of yours?

    I just hope that some of the memory bugs get fixed soon, as unfortunately it does experience some slow down due to all the spawning actors :(

    It's a collaboration with someone that may or may not happen - we'll see after 'Project S'.

    I love this 'Project' stuff - makes it sound really mysterious, when really it's just a fart app or something ;)

    Didn't mean to sidetrack there - was just curious about the controls you were using!

    Does RR have an 'end' - level progression? Or is it more like Canabalt?

    I'm a curious sheep you know ;)

    Seeing as how we just finished "Project R" it seems very appropriate that you are well under way with "Project S" ;)

    No level progression with the game modes currently, just "ride til you die" .. The game makes you make a mistake, thus always wanting to do better :)

    Planning some extra game modes at the moment that could allow levels and things.. we'll see!

    Oh, and you guys haven't even see the Boss yet :P

    Hopefully his entrance isn't too much for you to deal with at once ;)

    Just had to resubmit to Apple as we (typically after submission) found a rather large bug. Still technically 13 days until our hopeful release date, so I'm hoping Apple won't let us down!
