Dang man. You must have hit some marketing gold mine or something. I mean, I know it's a fantastic game, but it's hard to get noticed even when you have a AAA game without some serious marketing.

If the marketing goldmine is 'doing nothing' then yes, I hit that!
I don't even send out press releases anymore - they just seem to only attract 'We can help you do marketing' companies :O
I mean, the game even had the wrong screenshots on its iTunes page when it first launched. It seems to be doing ok despite my efforts!

Unfortunately I don't have the resources to do translations, so no, it wasn't translated into different languages!

@quantumsheep, what makes your game special is the details, especially all the sci-fi references. It makes you want to play more just to see if you can "get" the next ships name.
Well done, deserved and a lesson to indies. Put love into your game and players will respond.
Just posting to let you know the latest update went live a couple of days ago with a tweak to the controls - hopefully people will find them more responsive
Also, the game's no longer featured on the front page of any app stores. It's had a good run, bless it, and is now enjoying a well deserved rest!

Yeah, it's still on the US/Canada front page - it'll be 3 weeks on Thursday...
And now, for some unknown reason, it's on the UK iTunes front page too...
But it's not even Thursday!
Maybe it'll get taken off there on Thursday? Maybe it'll stay another week?

I wouldn't say 'moved on' as Angel Wing is a 3D game.
I have plenty of 2D games I'd love to make in GS but they are all pretty text heavy so I'll wait till custom fonts are available!
