    @blue_elephant

That's very kind of you to say. Thanks. I'm learning a lot from this project. Hopefully I'll be able to do something with this little hobby of mine. That's pretty much all it is at this point, but you never know right? I'll take the compliment, but really, I still have a whole lot to learn.

Having a lot of fun with this. :))

We play a lot of poker here, bring some beers and a fiver for the buy in, pop some songs on the jukebox and your good to go.

One thing i noticed is the cards…we play with 4 colour sets (they look nicer imo and its easier to see flushes for e.g.) will you be including the 4 colour sets into the game?

    Hearts RED
    Diamonds BLUE
    Clubs GREEN
    Spades BLACK

Very nice. Just design enough scenes to actually show off the detailed 3d models! (not only top down). Cool Stuff!

Hi Darren. That's a really good idea. I hadn't considered it, because I've never used a multicolor deck, but I don't see any reason why not to include one. We don't use use four colored decks in brick & mortars here in the US so I personally stay away from them when I play online or electronically, but it's actually a good way to add some variety and maybe appeal to more users.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

    @bigdave

I'm trying to work that out. I have a few ideas. We'll see what kind of memory we are working with and hope for the best. I'm hoping the animations won't be too much of a beast on file size.

Yes. I just spoke with fajlajp this week. He's been vacationing but we are still on top of it. We hit a few walls with some of the issues he tried to find help with some weeks ago, but if he able to iron those out then this project will be moving forward as planned.

Still hoping for a great outcome on this end, so we'll stick with it and see what happens.

Thanks Rex for that update :)
Yes everyone, this project is top prior right now for me and rex. But as he said, we hit a few walls during the coding. As many of you playimg poker know, it´s many rules that have to cooperate. So it´s a real mess right now. When I try to fix one rule so it works together with another one, another rules fail. And when I try to fix that another rule fails ~X( So I will "start from beginning"
You are maybe thinking, "what is he thinking with!" But calm down. It´s now problem. I have many things ready but I just want to "copy" that over to a new project so I get some order in my attribute libary.
I will also let you guys be with me in the process. So expect video updates regurlary from now on. Tomorrow I get home and hopefully I get some time to work with this and maybe post a video of how the out dealing will look and the layout with buttons(as I said, would have to start over) so no gameplay unfortunaly, sorry. But I have said to myself and rex that we will try to be ready with this late March, beginning of April :) Stay tuned

Looking good buddy. I love the deal effect.

The lighting on the art looks much better in video gameplay format then I expected it would. Happy to see that. I'll have some updated art for you in the coming days and weeks. Let me know when your ready to tackle the animation frames for the players and dealer.

Nice! The graphics are awesome. Looking forward to see more!

    Thanks @LumpApps and @BazookaTime
I finally found a bug a was struggiling with really much. The Fold-mechanism. I noticed when I did the clean up code(when moving this to another project as described above) I noticed an extra attribute that destroyed everything. But that is removed and works smooth :D
  • FajlajpFajlajp Member Posts: 666
Maybe a update later on today, what do you think of that ;)
Not a fully completed gameplay, but this is what I plan to get ready today and show you.
    *Fold meachanism(already done)
    *Bet,Check,Call,Raise,All-in
*Small Blind, Big Blind and Dealer button placement.
*Correct order of Player Turn(For you that don´t know the correct order of Player´s Turn in texas hold´em, I will help you to understand that :) )
  • -Timo--Timo- Member Posts: 2,313
yes please!! show us some more please! :D cant wait to see the finished game!
  • FajlajpFajlajp Member Posts: 666
    As I promised... Update #2 :)>-
I will quickly explain what´s included since the last update.*Fold meachanism(already done)
    *Fold meachanism
*Bet,Check,Call,Raise,All-in. (Even if it isn´t changing picture at the moment to raise and all-in. Bet is the same thing as raise. And you could bet all your money=all in)
*Small Blind, Big Blind and Dealer button placement and value. It currently starts at SmallBlind=1 and BigBlind=2
*Correct order of Player Turn. For you that don´t know the correct order of Player´s Turn in Texas Hold´em, here is an explanation. The first Betround (before the as called Community Cards is dealt out) is the one left to the of the BigBlind that start the round. The second, Third and fourth betting round is the player left to the Dealer(The one that as the dealer button) that begins.

    Other info.
*The numbers on each player´s hat is the amount of coins the player have left. Every player starts with 500 coins.
*When the video stops, is there the hand calculator will take into place and decide which player that won that round.

    Hope you enjoy ;)

This looks really nice :) really cool. Now you are playing like every character arent you? It will be random computer bet, raise, check etc? That will be hard... Good luck! :)
  • FajlajpFajlajp Member Posts: 666
