thanks! this morning I put together a rough draft of the description, and have been playing through every level to ensure it's balanced and fix the last few bugs that pop up. I really do spend at least 50% of my total development time polishing up the game once it's 'complete'
I just finished playing through every single level and have a list of about 18 items that I need to fix, adjust or change before I can submit. should take me about an hour to fix all of them, which means tomorrow is submission day!
I just hit build for the last time (hopefully). This morning I made 3 more small adjustments and ran all the graphics through an image optimizer. Saved 15MB which is a good chunk of space. Not enough to get it under 50MB unfortunately, but if Apple ever raises the limit to 100MB I'm golden!
CAT-ACLYSM was approved today. There was a 1 week delay due to a failure on my part to submit the iAP along with the game, so the release date is now October 20th.
My cats started growling when they heard the cat in the trailer growl lol, also my girlfriend wants this game now... "download it for me please" "not out yet" "**** sake"
Feedback and Improvements: 1. Controls were a bit wonky and it was hard to control the character 2. Game is fun 3. Didn't hear any game music 4. No Theme Song
1, what about the controls did you think was difficult? you should have seen it before originally the character didn't even stop. That made it VERY difficult 2, thanks! 3 + 4, make sure you have your audio on and volume up.
Controlling the character with the paw in the corner was difficult, pulling it all the way with your finger makes the character fly off the map, and not stop at the sculptures you have to destroy. to destroy them, you have to pull it only a little bit.
I agree. The controls were hard to menuevar and I couldn't figure out exactly how to deploy the bombs and I found myself just clicking randomly until something happened. Maybe just add a help button to figure it out. Also it took me forever to figure out how to even start the game by clicking the fish haha. Anyway I think just adding a help button would help a lot.

I am glad you said this, I was feeling stupid as I had a hard time figuring out how to start the game as well.
Thanks for the comments everyone. I do have an instructions page before loading the first level, but it's obviously not detailed enough. You use the controls on the left to control the ship, once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy to control. Tapping anywhere on the right side of the screen drops a bomb. a second tap will explode the bomb.
I'll rework the instructions page this week and push an update.
