I won't be able to join the contest this time because I'm about to start on a game that I plan on releasing in a couple months and I'm strapped for time, however, I would like to offer a prize. I'll give a $25 Amazon Digital Gift Card to the winner of whatever category or place you feel like putting it in @stormystudio
Hey everyone thanks @stormystudio for running the contest and everyone for donating prizes but I have a quick question can I just start when the contest starts or do I have to sign up somewhere
@8BitArvrin - It's a shame you can't make the contest but great that you've offered up a stellar prize. Many thanks.
@Epic - You can start taking part when ever you like, but to show that you've been working on the game throughout the contest, I do ask that everyone makes a blog on www.totgb.com and shares their thoughts and any videos, images you want to to create a cool development blog for others to view, learn from and comment on.
The Final entry will be a YouTube video showcase of your game that you must submit to a 'final entries' page at www.totgb.com
I'll make the scoring sheet (same as normal) available for everyone to see once the contest starts so you can decide which areas to concentrate on. e.g. Game originality and game mechanics get the most points with less still up for grabs for art and sound...
@DanDaMan123 - You can join at any time before the contest ends but please do show some of your work/progress on the game in a blog so we know you've been working on it during the contest.

Some great prizes and a pretty cool Theme too. Which gets announced at 9pm GMT on Sunday....
I hope lots you take part and put together a cool development blog.
It should be fun and bring about some cool discussion on thinking up original game ideas and then developing them over 18 days...
Good luck to all.
