Nice start , i suggest you make everything smaller , that way you will have more space in the screen and it will let you put more "bad guys" and also the spaceship will have more floating space .
Hi, On this game, your objective is to make your highest score, just like, doodle jump, jetpack, fruit ninja, etc. So yeah, when you run out of ammo, too bad. Just kidding. I need to finish that, the problem is, I have no idea what to use to represent ammo! Could you help me? And yes, there`s a store. Where you could buy missile, ammo, and other space ships. But over all what do you thing about the game?
Thanks a lot! Yeah, I'm looking forward to put more stuff in it! But first I will try to upload it, and with the money I get pay an artist or something for more art.
uptimistik said: That most likely won't happen kiddo...People buy with their eyes first. Better you work and get some cash to pay an artist then publish a polished game.
Yes, I know, but I don't have enough money, and the art is very expensive. But I don't know, since it's my first game I ever made, I'm kinda scared I don't make enough money even to get back the 100 dolars from my developer account...
I would suggest adding a little inertia and drag to the up and down movements. (at least a little coast to stop) It looks like it very abruptly stops and starts. Just a thought.

Whatever you do- Do not publish this game now! It is just a start. If you publish a game that is this simple then people will have no respect for you! Then when you make it better, they still won't buy it.
I beg you, please add a lot more before you publish. This is basically just the Shoot /em up template. Not saying it's bad, just not nearly finished.
Finish the coding sid of the game and then worry about the art. This way people will not be turned away from you as a developer.

Hey, thanks for they advice, but do you really think this game has potential (I mean, when I totally finish, bought lots of art, and everything done) to sell enough to get back my money from the art and the othe things? My problem is that I'm really new to this, this is my first game! I never had any experience before, so I don't know a lot, that why I publish her on the forum. And thanks everyone that watched the video and gave me suggestions.
Hey tapfly, its a good game just need to finish the store that you showed me it would be really cool with that store. You're game is really cool i liked the idea that you from the game, and i think you should do the black hole that you showed to me, it would be really cool with that animation!

Hey Tapfly,
If you have a store and a upgrade shop and you get some good art, then I think this could really be a quality game. Also, there are a few artists out there that don't charge, but just will take a percentage of the money you make. Also, maybe a friend could do that. It would make sense in your situation. Still, do not publish without something lie the store to add on to the game's quality. Trust me, not a good idea.

Thanks a lot, No way I'm publishing this now, I already contact some artists, they are already making some nice stuff for me! In rhe store there will be around 6 spaceships that you could buy! Thanks
You should definitely make it so that each spaceship will have a different power, health, and speed etc. Also, try to make them unlock able. Now that would be really cool!

Roy.
I'm sure someone will come up with some names for you soon
Cheers

Also, try changing the speed of the background stars to twice as fast as it is now. Will probably add a layer of excitement.
There seems to be no pacing to the game - the asteroids don't speed up, for example, and it could get dull otherwise.
Hope that helps!

I will try to change those 3 things!
But over all what do you thing of my game?
Thanks!
How do you win the game?
What happens when your ammo runs out?
Can you spend the coins on any upgrades?

Also, a good start on a game.I'd suggest having things other than asteroids involved. What about Meteor Mayhem? That'd be cool.
