Here's a new project started with Ryan Jackson from Endless Hallway He's doing all the art and I'm handling all the the app stuff.
Here's some early artwork showing one of the game levels and our main character.
And here's a video!
Really excited about this game, it's turning out really cool so far. We'll post more stuff over the coming weeks.

We had so many ideas for this game, but the great thing about GS - we can demo it pretty quick and find out what works and what doesn't

I was working on the game mechanics today, importing the animations that Ryan has been working on for the jump, double jump and triple jump. It's looking really good. No doubt I'll have more to show you soon.

Glad you're liking the work in progress. When we get to the stage of beta testing I'll give you a buzz

Ok, I'll have a look at G+ and post something.
I've got the main combat controls pretty much sorted and Ryan has been doing a load of character animations which are turning out great.
I still don't want to post any videos until we have it more polished. But in the meanwhile here's some concept art of one the species you'll encounter in the game. And the adjusted and animated versions look even better...

With this one we're making a game for gamers. So we're not really worried about 'casual' audiences. Just making something that we want to play ourselves.
So expect combo moves that need some skilful timing to pull off...!

Really digging the art style.

We're giving our main character, Ashley Ao, loads of moves and abilities to bring her to life.
In this first video you'll see 1 of 2 gameplay styles that will be in the game. So this part is all about action. Lane dodging, speed boosting and pulling off attack combos.
I've spent a lot of time over the last year learning how to optimise games in GS and it's all paying off with this one! There's already a ton of animations and game logic but for a game like this it all needs to run really smoothly with a high frame rate to be any fun. And it does and it is We're keeping each scene to 40mb too so it'll be playable on 2nd gen devices.
If you're a fan of anime, sci-fi or action games you'll enjoy this one...

Lump Apps and My Assets
@Calvin, Project Orion was only the work in progress name. We've decided on the main character's name - Ashley Ao and are now finalising what the game title will be. Feel free to make some suggestions!
@Ludwig, Thanks yeah we're working hard to make the level of quality really high with this game. I'm sure Ryan will be pleased that you noticed some of the details in the art when he reads this.
can't think of any title now, I think the sheeps can give you a good suggestions

On a general note, one of the things I learned from our first game, Honey Tribe Colony Collapse was that I should have started the marketing earlier.
So that's what we're doing with Ao. We think we've got something good to show so will be showing as many peeps as possible all the way through development and then at the release.
Wrixel gave us a nice preview write up, and today Pocket Gamer posted our preview vid so we show up on their front page. Hopefully a few more places will pick up on the trailer.
