Yes, in USD it should be around 7K.
I'd have a question to all you guys...
Now, by making an update, I finally managed to get rid of the glossy icon - but now all your great reviews have slipped into the hidden previous versions reviews. Now, could you please update your app and then refresh your review text? So it will appear again for the actual version?

I get almost the same exact times on my iPhone 3gs. It's pretty much the only thing I don't like about Spooky Hoofs (although I wish that there was an option to switch the placement of the buttons). The graphics are amazing and the additions made to the gameplay (being able to move forward and back, mini-bosses, bullet-hell shooter-style weapon upgrades, etc.) make it truly transcend the endless runner genre. However, the initial load time makes it hard to play when you don't have much time to play a game and you have to wait 37 seconds before you can actually start playing the game.

You mean on the Mac App Store? Yes, but there's no difference between the countries yet. It has been N&N frontpage and Games since two weeks now, means N&N worldwide. In the first week it even had a large banner. I wish I had a treatment like that on iTunes... ;-)
I bought this last week for the iPhone (I won't post my score it's pretty pathetic compaired to some scores posted on here lol). I really enjoyed it, loved the art style (I'm a big castlevania fan) I hope the good sales keep up :-)
Hey Thomas, Congratulations on the success of your game. I've been having fun with it and have left you a glowing review!
One thing that intrigues me is how you get your coach to move forward and back? If it's controlling the camera then be background wouldn't remain a continuous speed. I like how the coach corrects itself to its home position again.
Does that mean the coach isn't actually controlling the camera? Is the camera just on the same course as the coach?
Anyway brilliant work and may it bring you a kajillion sales!

Yes, of course. I never let a visible actor control the camera, cause then this actor would look like sitting fixed in the screen center. It's always an inivisible actor, or I simply manipulate the scene's camera attributes directly by code (which is also possible).
Sweet! Yup that makes sense. Until now I've always created an invisible actor controlling the camera offset from the visible one but still attached. It certainly opens up more possibilities. Sometimes thinking differently about how we do things opens up more possibilities. I still can't get my head around how you dealt with all those animated elements working together but I know it involves loads of math. Mad skills as they say ) Thanks again! Mike
So it's on the home page, next to music and movies, not on the App Store front page. That feels quite good, but I don't know what's better... Maybe people who are looking especially for games won't stay too long on the home page. Also, it can't be seen from within the iPhone App Store app.
Best, Thomas
P.S. @Ebreeze, I'm not sure what the exact sales numbers are. While it was featured, I sold around 700-800 copies each day, iphone and Mac combined. But when the big features stopped, I still kept selling around 50 - 60 copies per day.
@butterbean: Exactly, a never ending game. It took me two days to get that score, I had to pause the game and close my laptop hoping it wouldn't force quit lol.
Gamesmold, ever consider adding more onto the game after the castle??

That would be so great!!!
Thanks a lot in advance and also thanks for your great support.
Thomas
I hope many people will do so. It's so annoying that I had to go for an update just to remove that gloss.
Best,
Thomas
Congratulation!!

@Gamesmold - How long where you working on this one before it's initial release?
