Hey All,
On the iPhone App Store, Danger Cats! is now listed under Hot New Games in the Featured Section!
On the desktop version of iTunes, it is listed in the What's Hot section!
I am soooo excited!
I knew my incessant checking would finally pay off! :~)
Thanks to everyone on these forums for their very nice reviews! I really appreciate it!

Grats!!

Rewards well deserved
Some app sales tracking software tell you if your in top of anything of your featured. I use AppStore Sales and that has a rank section in it.
Lets you see your ranking too
And let me tell you, It's not easy gaining traction!
Danger Cats! is a slightly weird game, and it's tough to tell what's going on from the screenshots. I am going to redo all my screenshots and create a really nice splash screen as well. I really like the splash screen that eastbound used for Kill the King. I definitely think it will help.
Right now I am working on a major overhaul of Stunt Squirrels!
I really need to up the ante if I want to win the MacWorld contest!
After that I'll spruce up the cosmetics in Danger Cats!
@eastbound: no, I just kept checking everyday like a madman! Do they email you?
@Everybody: Wow! Thanks so much for the kind words! I appreciate your help/support/encouragement!

I'm telling you, it's time to leave the $0.99 cent area, as people think (and ultimately know) they're getting a quality application.
Funny how my Archangel game also went up in sales after moving to $1.99.
I know what you mean by the screenshots. I'm designing one particular game that I don't know if screenshots will do justice - we'll just have to see in about a week from now when I submit it for the Macworld contest.
Keep it up!
I am a member over at www.appFigures.com ... which gives me nice hourly worldwide app store rankings, and worldwide app store reviews. And they generate nice reports and charts for me, as well as email me everyday with all the sales data. I am sure all of the sites/apps do this, though...
No, after looking into it I found out they don't really notify anyone of anything.
And some apps use a picture of the iphone running the game with words around it (I did this for my iGentleman screenshots) and I really think that would help for a game with gameplay like this. And a professionally done splash screen, as well.
love hearing these stories of success.
Must keep tinkering with my current app....and your right the splash screen on 'Kill the King' makes it look much more salable.
Cheers, Weswog
Weswog, how did you see the ranking in the U.S App store?
can you see the ranking on itunes, or did you look at it through a program? Just curious if there's any other way of doing that besides applyzer and other sites
Cheers, Weswog
Yes, I use appFigures.com and I get updates every hour with the worldwide rankings!
I am addicted to it! Very distracting!
I'm sure i will be a fellow junkie.
Im sure im not the only one but i was checking itunes connect every 20min for 7 days just waiting for app to go live.... even though they email and cause your iphone to beep at you
