this is driving me nuts, ive googled it and all the fixes i see are getting heavy into the code which obviously we dont have access to.
my suspicion is that when i was flailing about creating my profile with apple i messed something up....but i'm not sure.
here i'll ask this question. when i was setting up my developer profile it had me download some sort of provisioning file....was i supposed to do something with that?
before no, yes now, no still not working....i did notice that theres like 4 profiles in the organizer now. this is my first app...did i botch something?
getting the feeling that i botched things big time.
ONE Developer Certificate. This allows you to build apps onto your device.
ONE AppID per game.
TWO Provisioning Profiles per game. One is for development and testing. The other is for distribution to the App Store. There is a tab for each section. You need to create each one in the appropriate section.
And name them something like this, so you don't get confused:
You need to create all of this stuff online in the iPhone Provisioning Portal. Then download them to your Desktop, and then drag them into iTunes.
-------
When you publish your app through GS, there is a drop-down menu to select the appropriate provisioning profile. You must select the AppStore one for submission to Apple.
