  Correct. ITunes Connect is what closes each year. So no uploading new apps, changing prices, changing descriptions, or checking sales data.

  Yes, once they come back up you'll be able to view all the reports as usual.

  The chart shows some activity for Christmas day... which I think is strange... because that's today is Christmas day. If the iTunes App Store is closed, I'm not sure where they're getting that data from.

  I'm planning to upload a new app on the day iTunes Connect reopens. It's strange to see a website closed. Perhaps there's a lot of physical labor involved in running the website.

  Funny, they are still doing reviews. My update to Food Fight! which was submitted the day before they closed was approved this morning.
