IronSource setup Tips?

Hi everyone, I have just started to integrate IronSource into some of my app, in the past I have always just used Chartboost for interstitial and admob for banners. But lately revenue from these two networks has really started to fall.

Does anyone have any good mediation setup tips or links for IronSource?

Also I'm interested if anyone has any implemented a successful mediation setup?

Success is a strong word but I use Ironsource for most of my games (including those not built with GameSalad). My current setup is all bidding networks available that I have not been banned in. And then I use eCPM based line items. Here is one example from one of my apps and banner:

Thanks for the screenshot @adriangomez, that's interesting. Have you found this approach has been more profitable than with just going with one network?

@adriangomez , What do you mean "banned"?

Do some network can choose not to accept the game ?

IronSource channel on youtube has some helpful tutorial videos about mediation. It is worth checking them out.

@adriangomez I'm not an expert, but looking at your setup, why leave the networks in the manual tier instead of sort by CPM tier, which ensures the highest paying networks are always served first?

First, the eCPM or manual tier is not bidding. It just uses historical data or the value entered into eCPM to determine the price. This would be fine if iron source calculated that historical eCPM for every app and every line item, but they don't. They have a rule that they only pull data for a particular line item when it reaches 1000 impressions per app per week. It resets on Saturday and night and starts at a 0. For an app that has a lot of impressions, I guess that is fine, but for most of my apps at the start of the week, it would cause most of my impressions to go to the less ideal network.

The picture above has a fairly large amount of impressions and it is banners but here is one of my less popular apps and for interstitial. Notice that I have only reached the threshold for ironsource. Everything else has an eCPM of N/A. If I could have fit the entire picture you would have seen that the bottom tier Admob is above the threshold at eCPM of 1.12. From my experience, all the impressions at that point would go to that line item even when Applovin 4.00 is a hard floor on the applovin side that pays me at least an eCPM of $4.00.
