Targeting audio file in expression editor

I know at one time it was on the "want list" but is there currently any way to "target" an audio file in the expression editor and play it the same way you can select a certain image in the expression editor by its file name? I have some running dialog that works through a table and i would like to put voice over with it that changes as you progress through the dialog.

You can still only play sounds and music by choosing them from the menu I'm afraid.

so based on this I have a follow up question. Would anyone have any ideas on how to pull off a pop up instruction box with text and audio? What i have is a screen that comes down with an image and text that type out similar to the dialog examples GS helper has. But i would also like to have audio with them that at least closely syncs. (think something like the "feedback" in StarFox or similar things
It sounds like you want actual voice over, but if you were just looking for 'talking sounds' more like Animal Crossing you could do something like this.
