App Store requirements due June 30, 2020
Hi @adent42 & GameSalad team,
Are GameSalad apps published now already compatible with the following requirements from Apple? (app updates due by June 30, 2020):
"Deadline for App Updates Has Been Extended
March 26, 2020
We greatly value the worldwide developer community, and appreciate your commitment to making a difference in people’s lives through the power of technology. To accommodate developers who may need additional time to update their existing apps on the App Store, the deadline for adhering to the requirements below has been extended to June 30, 2020.
- Apps for iPhone or iPad must be built with the iOS 13 SDK or later and use an Xcode storyboard to provide the app’s launch screen.
iPhone apps must support all iPhone screens and all iPad apps must support all iPad screens.
...Apps using HTML 5 must be in full compliance with guideline 4.7 sections 4, 5, and 6 of the App Store Review Guidelines."
-from developer.apple.com portal
I searched on the forums but didn't see anything mentioning this (I'm surprised this isn't one of GameSalad's pinned posts considering it's so important).
Thanks,
John Gillanders

We are working on the updates (namely the requirement for a storyboard for loading screens). We already target 12.1 so it's a simple recompile for 13.
Good to know, thanks.
As an FYI, we have the storyboard first pass completed.
It's gonna accept two images, landscape and portrait. The storyboard will just scale the image file to fit and preserve aspect ratio (so it's not stretched).
And again, compiling to iOS 13.0 is trivial.
We should have it out sometime next week (we're still testing).
Cheers.
Great news, thanks @advent42
The RC has been updated. You will need to manually set your minimum iOS version in publishing (to current version users the option to us 12.1).

Thanks, @adent42!
Update to the last comment, you no longer need to manually set the minimum iOS version. We'll adjust that automatically if you hit Build RC.
