creating an app in Gamesalad

Hi im new using gamesalad and Im wondering... can I use gamesalad just to create an app and upload it to iOS? but not a game, just an app, for example, a recipes app.

That's possible without a doubt. Now that you mention it, I've been wondering before whether there are some examples of non-gaming apps created by GS out there. One could imagine that other kinds of rule/behavior combinations are used to build something else than a game. It'd be interesting to learn some unexpected tricks from apps like these. Other features, demand another way of thinking, I guess.
Does anyone know some examples?

You can definitely make non-game apps using GS. There have been a few mentions over the years here on the forums if you do a search for 'non-game apps' you'll turn up some results for sure.
