Timer & Score Text Bug

Hi, I am new to GameSalad and game creation. I have a glitch going on with my game where the timer and the score actors are not showing the text cleanly. (There are parts of other numbers showing up in the actor for some reason)
I created a timer/ score variable then to display those variables, I created an actor and added a "Display Text" behavior.
Can anyone tell me what this bozo novice has done to ruin my game? Here it is posted on the web. http://arcade.gamesalad.com/games/151159
(Here's a link to a screenshot if my attachment doesn't work). https://snag.gy/qjnlmJ.jpg
Thank you for the help!

I'm guessing you unlocked an actor in the scene which then makes it into an "instance" with its own rules. If you're viewing the "prototype" actor without realizing you did that, you're looking at the wrong rules. Try deleting the actor from the scene and re-adding it which will force it to be a prototype.
If that doesn't work, post a screenshot of your rules.

Hey Tatiang, thank you so much for giving me the tip about "instance" vs "prototype". I went and read up about the difference between the two and that was definitely something I messed up in my game haha... I deleted my timers/ score and then re-added it but the same problem exists. Here is a link to the updated version: http://arcade.gamesalad.com/games/151185
Here are screenshots of the rules.

haha The game is pretty weird! I don't want to offend anyone on the forum but a bit of a backstory to explain it. I recently left the Mormon Church after being an active member for more than 15 years (mission, temple marriage, tithe payer, etc.). I left after learning both sides of the Church's history and not just the side the Church shared. Since then I have noticed that the leaders of the Church constantly encourage people to blindly dismiss any accusations against the Church and it made me pretty upset. One of the highest ranking leaders in the Church gave a talk a week ago where he shared the parable of "Church History Whack a Mole" and he told the story about a man who just kept having doubts because he wasn't faithful enough to trust God. So I made this game to openly challenge that leader and plan to share it through the media as a form of activism against manipulating and shaming people into not questioning. When the man gave the talk, he had a cartoon version of whack a mole made (this talk was given to adults so it looked so idiotic). So I replicated their exact graphics that they used in the talk.
Anyways, just some irrelevant backstory. Thank you once again for your help!
Here's a screenshot of the original Mormon Leader's version if you're interested in comparing them haha. https://snag.gy/TwFVSd.jpg
That's a strange problem, never seen that before. Have you tried using a different font to see if that changes things at all?

Jamie_c that was the problem! The default font "Cambay" was the culprit! Thank you!
It's definitely a controversial app. But it makes sense coming from what you experienced. The Mormon church is not at all flexible or compassionate when it comes to the reality of their history. I have family members who are Mormon and there are some really wonderful aspects of the church and community that I've witnessed but I just can't get behind a religion that is so disrespectful towards women and LGBQT people.
