Hey fellow GameSalads! I created a game on Mac but I want to convert it to Windows so I can work on it on a PC.
If someone can dumb it down for me step by step on how to convert it between the two that would be great, because I am having no luck on getting this done:(

Pretty sure you just need to rename the file to have an extension of .gsproj. But I could be wrong. This video is old but could also shed some light...?

No need to convert, it works straight away
I tried opening my MAC file on a PC and the screen turned white and closed GS Maker.
Last I knew you were able to just open Mac files in the PC version with no 'converting' needed. I believe it was the transition from PC to Mac where you needed to rename the file.

I am trying to open it on my PC and it was made on a MAC and it does not open. The screen turns white and GS Creator closes when I try to open the file
I wonder if there is something in the Mac file that isn't supported on the PC? Not sure what it would be but maybe there is some error causing a crash. You could try tech support using the blue talk bubble in the lower right corner of the screen here.

I’m currently working with my file either on Mac and PC and it works like a charm
