Playing 2 music sounds one after the other

If i sequence 2 short music sounds one after the other, only the second one plays.
If I set the "Play Music" for the second one to "Off", the first one plays.
How do I get both to play in sequence?

    are they sfx or music?
    you may need to set a timer so you play the first sound then the next instruction is after x seconds play the second sound.

    sfx = short for sound effects, not a file type. sorry for using jargon.

    i don’t think it matters what file type you use as long as when you import your audio files into gs and are prompted, you specify if they will be used for sounds or music.

    i've used a mix of wav, ogg, mp3 and m4a without any hassle.
