Why can't a Game Salad developer output a Windows versions of the game?

It is the biggest desktop gaming market out there by 10 to 1.

Thanks.

What do you mean exactly? I am about to finish working on my first real game and plan to release it to Steam... is there something I should know about?

How are you outputting the Windows EXE version of the game?

I'm unsure how you output a Windows version.

When I publish an app, the "Steam" section just says that it's not supported, and prompts users to try wrapping an HTML5 version to a Windows version, but for me the HTML5 version is too broken.

So I'd be delighted if you can tell me how you output a Windows version of your game.

    Thanks.

You should try to make your Windows version.

    How will you do it?

Personally, I was excited to get my game onto Steam, as well as Kongregate, Itch.io, and my website....

But unfortunately, unless HTML5 output is fixed up, none of this will be possible, shutting off the massive PC and web gaming markets to me and my Game Salad game.
