"Rate us" Popup: New iOS Requirements

Apple is staring to hunker down on asking users for ratings. There is a new standard in-app rating popup that is required to be used and will be rejecting apps with their own custom prompts. @ForumNinja @adent42 - Is this something we will see in a (soon) creator update? This is very crucial feature for developers and users alike.

huh you kind of brought me in panic mode with

But there is nothing such mentioned apple just presents there in-app version, which is neat. But there is nothing about rejecting apps with custom prompts or that the new version is required.

It would be nice to have but not as urgent as you present it.

I think it was mentioned at WWDC. Probably will come on force around the release of iOS 11, I would guess, which isn't that far off.

As @pHghost points out I believe the rejection part was mentioned during the WWDC sessions. I'll see if there's anything I can link to here.

They are really trying to crack down on the overuse of ratings prompts by using the system pop up. We're gunna need access to that feature regardless and I hope this is something we can get in Creator sooner than later.
