Another GS Win - Kraken in New and Noteworthy :D

Well, it's not quite up there with Bumps, but Attack of the Kraken is in New and Noteworthy in 'Arcade' and 'Action' categories...

    I highly doubt that - Kraken doesn't exactly have the huge appeal that Bumps does!

    I'm just happy that a game I'm very proud of has managed to get a little attention :D

    Wait till the next one - might give you a run for your money then ;)

    Honestly... yes!

    Kraken isn't what I'd call a 'typical' iPhone game - its appeal is a bit limited I think.

    And with all the N&N attention GS games have been getting lately, I wasn't sure it'd be featured *anywhere*.

    But hey, it's done ok, spent a couple of days in the top 200 of its categories and I'm a happy sheepy!

    I don't think being featured will make *any* difference at all though, especially tucked away in the categories.

    I'm very much looking forward to next week though when Kraken LITE is available!

    If it sits at the top of the new releases on its launch, I think a lot of people will get to try it out and make up their own minds about it! :D

    At least Apple is a little more open minded that the TA reviewer who dismissed Max Vector as a 'limited' GameSalad game :D

    All very exciting!

    Hehe, Max IS a limited GS game... but hey, it's still a decent little shooter (I think) and was my first game. Can only go up from here!

    I love playing it. Twice now I've had to travel on the tube to meet people this week. And I've been playing the game on the train each time and enjoying it.

    Not to test it. But through choice! :D

    I have a game *I* made, that *I* love, in *my* pocket.

    The really awesome thing would be to spot someone *else* playing it. I think Bumps has a much better chance of that, but I'll be keeping my eyes peeled anyway :D

    As with Kraken, project 'S' has been in my GS folder for a year or more now. Monday will see me getting down to it in earnest and finishing it off at some point. Very excited for that one.

    Then there's still Kraken Lite out next week, and the slow move to 'Free' for my earlier games...

    Gonna be a busy sheep :D

    Dude, I wish *my* first game was as good as yours, and many others here! Learnt a lot though in the last year, and it's ALL good :D
