unable to destroy an object on touch

in Working with GS (PC)

im trying to do a simple thing... when i touch the object i want it to be destroyed
ive set a rule that if i touch inside then destroy and it doesnt work why is that?

    You've probably set your rule up incorrectly, the rule should work just fine.

    well ive ive set it so on touch is pressed > destroy
    and it doesnt work

    If the rule is set up correctly it should work just fine, so I am guessing there is some other issue with your logic set up (for example another condition that's not being met) ?

    Without seeing what you've actually done all anyone can do is make (hopefully educated) guesses. If you post a screenshot of your rules that would really help diagnose the issue.
