How to prevent actor from stopping at edge of "screen" when following finger

In my game, I want the actor to follow my finger anywhere I touch. I created a scene which extends to the right and above the native device screen size. I also added camera control on the actor so it stays in the middle of the screen as it moves. I also changed tracking to 0 for both x and y. The game works fine as long as I am touching within the "screen". By "screen", I mean the area designated by the white borders you see when you are in scene view of game salad creator. The problem comes when I touch beyond the white borders. The actor does not follow anymore. The border seems to act like a wall preventing the actor from moving towards my finger. Help please.
