Eye Catching App Icons and Titles

Anyone have any tips on naming your App, what seems to work well or sell well, and what icons seem to catch peeps attention, or is this mostly a crap shoot, especially with the picture icons?

I've heard using the first letter in the alphabet for the first word in your app is useful, but I typically don't search for apps that way myself, I usually search by Genre or the top grossing apps
