Need help on how to make an actor spawn a weapon.

Working on a plat former where you play as an angry mechanic fighting rusty bolts and car parts. I need the main player at the press of a button spawn an actor tagged (weapon) which is a Big hammer, to appear from the actors left hand hand, pivot downward and hit the floor then disappear also while playing a short animation were the actors hand can be seen moving out and a scowl on his face during the duration of the "attack." What are the best behaviors and functions to use for this? Thanks

The easiest way for me to do this is to do an animation. So one animation of the character running then run an animation of him spawn the hammer and hit the floor.
Then switch back to the original player......
