Do Publisher Updates Reset Attributes?

Say you add a new level to the game and want to release an update. Will releasing the update reset all saved attributes and thus reset the player's progress? If so, is there a way around this?

    It does NOT, but I believe there's something where you cannot add rows/columns to tables, you may want to look that up. But if you add an attribute on the side it shouldn't do anything.
