Start up loading time

Hi Folks,
I've been testing something I've been working on and it takes 30 seconds for it to finish the start-up loading. Which is way tooo long for most people. Once I'm in though the scene changing etc is fast, basically instantaneous. I'm working with a bunch of tables, 2 of which are really large (15000 cells and 300000 cells). Is there a way to reduce my loading times? Will breaking the tables into smaller tables help with loading and if so, any idea by how much? Or I should I just suck it up because it cant be helped?
