Apk Not Saving Out Signed Version!

I've set up my PC for signing apps following step by step exactly. All my fields are filled in etc as they should be. Once I select I location to save my new signed app, it's not there. I've tried and tried, but without any success. If I go into "recent files" on my PC, these show, but trying to follow their file location comes up as "invalid" and they are also 0 bytes. Please help
