Jump through platform problem...

I seem to have followed the majority of the videos on the jump through platform tutorials... Sometimes it works and most times it does not... My actor is 40 pixels in height and I'm wondering am i doing something wrong.... Lets say there are 2 platforms and let's imagine ones y position is. 70... Should the minimum y position requirement for the jump through platform above that be 110? Anyone know of any good tutorials that explains this or an easier way of handling this? I want my actor to still be able to move past the jumbo through platform as well unless they would like to jump on it helpsies please!

depends on the size of you hero. Remember all positions are pulled from the center of actors. So you have to take into account the bottom half of the platform and the top half of your hero in your number.

Absolutely so would that mean i would have to make the equation considering the actor mid size to make this work?

Yes. You have to think of thing from the middle positions. All that data is the middle position. Every actors self.position is the middle.
