Says my file is too new?

in Working with GS (PC)

I have put in well over 100 hundred hours into a game I started from scratch, and now all of a sudden when I try opening my game I get this error: "Unsupported file format. The file is newer than this version of Gamesalad supports. This version of Gamesalad supports version 0.24 or earlier game projects"
So far I tried:
rebooting PC
Uninstalling and reinstalling Gamesalad(the latest version)
Making a new file and copying over all the files from the actors/scenes/images/etc folders.
Any Ideas would be GREATLY appreciated. My last backup was weeks ago..
