Amazon has some docs and apps on how to test with out having the device.
Thanks @BlackCloakGS I will check that out.
wow i'm actually learning how to install an apk on an virtual emulator
I manage to install the .apk on the emulator but it doesn't emulate very well, even though I've put the specs for a Kindle it plays very badly, and you can't really select the CPU its preset somehow. Anyway I wanted to test it on a 2nd Gen Kindle because of the animation slow down, which so far only happens on a 1st gen Kindle as far as I know, Alexandra helped me test on a few other Android devices and it played fine. Do you know if I set the SDK to 11, will 2nd Kindles be able to install it? @BlackCloakGS
Even a 2nd gen Kindle fire is old. What you want is a kindle fire HD.

hehe true!, but I don't to lose any potential customers
People with old devices have them because they don't have money. The data on this is clear. Don't waste your time, you'll never see the return.

@wilsongalucho a couple of useful links re emulators
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2662650/making-the-android-emulator-run-faster
and this looks interesting (there is a free non commercial use version which you could see if it suits your use) https://www.genymotion.com/#!/
don't forget emulators will only ever be a guide when compared to testing on real hardware. They are most useful for basic functionality and scene layout, frame rates in particular could easily be totally wrong.
@Lost_Oasis_Games haha so true! App has been accepted by Google but it's not showing on the Play Store when searched on devices only on the computer, hopefully it's just a matter of indexing.
