My next project, for your interest.
So I've almost completed my fifth app, just puzzle words to put in the table and it'll be ready to fire to Apple (after a TestFlight run-through).
The first app was also a puzzle, and although basic gave me a few headaches. The second and third apps, both utility apps, drove me to despair sometimes and it's a wonder I ever finished them. Same for the fourth and fifth apps - Ambient Writer (in review) & Sort 'Em - relatively straightforward as presentation but fairly complex programming. Deceptively simple, I think the expression is.
So almost ready to start a sixth iPad app. I decided that instead of minor apps with major headaches, I'd plan a major app with not so many headaches (problems, sure, but not tedious, laborious ones) - so I'm going to be creating an adventure game.
(I might still interrupt it to do some more minor apps but ones with minor headaches only! We'll see there...)
For those who know I already started an adventure game (Ancient Ones: Discovery) a few years back, you might be surprised to hear that it won't be that one.
I've already made a start yesterday evening and this evening on the new one, creating the intro and a work-in-progress menu card.
I'll be starting a progress thread soon showing a first dev. video (with intro) and more info. But in the meantime, here's that WIP menu card to wet your appetite (hopefully!) (The vast majority of the illustrations I'll be using where created by Digitalstudio via Content Paradise). So please look out for Secrets of Mystic Castle progress thread if you'd like to follow... em, progress!
