Problem with Application Loader

Hi, when trying to use Application Loader to upload my binary, I'm told:

"No suitable application records were found. Verify your bundle identifier 'com.alphaghostapps.ambientwriter4' is correct."

I've gone back into providing portal and it all seems OK - except it does say 0 devices. Don't know how to amend this - if that's the problem - any help appreciated, thanks.

    Thank you, @uptimistik but I have created the app in Connect.

    I'm trying again with a fresh App ID and PP, see if that does it this time...

    Hi @uptimistik I don't use Skype - (perhaps I ought to) but thanks for the offer.

    I can explain what's happening now it tries to upload, at the end some error messages:

    This one I read somewhere I can ignore:

    The resulting API analysis, etc..."

    But then I've also getting and stopping me from sending:

    ERROR ITMS-90529 Invalid package. Applications built with idk 9.0 must be packaged as proper IPA files."

    Any help there appreciated, thanks.

    Thanks for help again, @uptimistik but I did create the binary via GameSalad Publish. Then used a zipped version for Application Loader...

    When you publish at the last menu that used to he the fireworks menu hit the publish option. That will spit out an ipa file for you.

    Hey guys, tried again, still no joy. Just straightforward as I did a year ago or more:

    Make app id & PP- double click PP

    Select PP in iTunesConnect

    Uploaded game file with publish button in GSC

    Fill out the form

    Download app package and sign it with iOS PP

    Ready to save

    Congratulations screen after it's downloaded. Didn't see anther "Publish" button towards the end...

    This is annoying me because it seems so straightforward yet something's going wrong...

    Any more ideas please?

    Hey Gyro, been a while. The issue is (from what I understand) is that the process has changed since you last uploaded an app to ITC. We can no longer upload a zipped app like we did before via application loader. It must be an .ipa file. What Johnathan is trying to tell you is on the last pop up before clicking close or finish, select "open application loader" from the GS pop up. This will not open application loader but in fact make a second file which is an ipa. Upload this file instead of the the zipped app you have been trying to submit.

    If you cannot work out this process. (I'm away from my computer so can't screenshot it) then there is another way....

    Simply sign and download you app as before and save to desktop. Then make a new folder and call it Payload (spelt with a capital P), drag your app and put it inside the folder you just renamed. Then zip this folder and the change the extension to .ipa then finally rename the .ipa file with your game name and upload to ITC via application loader.

    Hi @gingagaming Nice to hear from you, as you say, been a while. :) I was a way from GSC for over 6 months or more (and haven't published in over a year)...

    And in that time things have changed, as you say. Thank you for your comprehensive answer, really appreciated.

    Found the publish button but there was a problem with the PP again so I've started the process form scratch, making a new App ID & PP.

    Hopefully this time, when I press the publish button it'll all work out as you explained. Thanks again!

    P.S Tried the other way with Payload folder but couldn't get that to work but hopefully the "modern" way will be fine... :wink:
