I'm afraid I have no idea. It's a problem with your Java installation though, rather than the app specifically, I'd think. Perhaps focus your Google searching there.
@Armelline
In my first try I made it like of your instructions of the tutorial.
After that did not work, I have the Java version loaded directly from the Java website.

The Java version you got from the java website is wrong. Uninstall it and install it from the link @Armelline provided.
@Lost_Oasis_Games
I have the same phenomenon as @jay2dx
And yes, Java is installed so that I can develop on Android.
Have really no idea what´s the problem with it.
Already tries to set Java into another folder/path ... no chance.

From your screen shot you have java 8 installed. You need to remove that and install java 6.
@Lost_Oasis_Games - El Capitan removed Java from most people's installs. Unless they're published an Android game since installing El Capitan, they'll probably have lost their java installation.
I strongly recommend people just pay the $20 for PhysicsEditor anyway, to be honest.

I agree with that, it's a much better tool. That what I am using.

When i am importing my .json file. The actor spawns a white rectangle in front of it. how can i remove this rectangle or make it invisible?
Can you show a screen shot of what you mean? Did you put an image on the actor? It might be as simple as setting the alpha to 0, but it really depends on what's happening.
Basicly, the lines i draw for my custom collisions, aren't colliding the way they are supposed to.
Now the orange actor in the link is marked up, to collide with all the edges, instead wierd collisions happens, like the one in the link.sometimes it doesnt collide at all.
I've been looking at the .json file with notepad++, and it looks to be just fine.
So my guess is that gamesalad isnt reading the .json file properly.
And sadly this issues ruined my whole game concept. Im willing to pay for help
I tested your file with the diamonds and the ball, and your collision data was wrong. I redid the diamond collision shape and it worked just fine. Perhaps try using PhysicsEditor instead?
Your example works just fine. I made a video showing the whole process for 1 object. Could you please take a look at it. (its split up into 2 videos because i lagged out)
I'm afraid I'm not familiar enough with PhysicsBodyEditor to be able to spend 15 minutes watching videos - I'd have a much better chance helping after seeing your process using PhysicsEditor.
I did pretty much exactly the same thing in PhyscisEditor as you did, just on a Mac. Perhaps this is a Windows version bug? Try importing this collision data.
Hey I watched the video 2 posts up, make sure you save your file WITH .json at the end. You have to type it at the end PhyBodEditor doesn't automatically put it in there (I use windows also).

I attempted the java from the link above in the first instance! It didn't work, so I used the java website, that didn't work either,
will try again tonight as maybe the mac needed a reboot! ill get it working somehow.
Surprised people don't have java installed as I thought Android publishing required java?

here are 3 examples of issues happening.

I have no idea why these things are happening. I've followed the tutorials on youtube from top to bottom, yet it doesnt seem to work for me.
Btw, those video tutorials were both more than 1 year old.
I'm sorry but I have no idea what problems you are actually having. Can you please explain what you expect to happen, and what is happening instead.

Yea my issues I had before were from PhysicsBodyEditor. I'll check it out when I have time after work to see if my workarounds apply
Heres a short video showing the same issue using PhysicsEditor
And when you say: @Armelline said:

Do you use java 8 or 6? (i got both installed. But still seems to happen is i use java 6 seperate.
