How do you create screenshots for App Store?

I don't own all the different iPhones and Apple now (it's been a while since I published an app last time) requires screenshots for every iPhone, so I was wondering if anyone knows a good solution for this.

I saw some old threads about taking screenshots using the GS preview and scaling them, but I don't get good results from that.

I also tried using the GS preview in iOS simulator, but it didn't load the app when I pressed preview.

Any ideas?

Generally I screenshot in iPad size, then use photoshop to resize/add elements to make it look better. @gingagaming also has a free screenshot tool that takes a photo and resizes it to all of the device requirements.

Hey Manto, hi Braydon, screenshots in GS are extremely disappointing. I'm not sure why but the quality is extremely poor. I think it's something that's been overlooked by @CodeWizard and not even sure it's on their radar! Screenshots taken in iPhone 6 on overscan produce Ipad screenshots and the quality has been scary for a while now. Screen shooting and cropping produces a better quality screenshot. Personally I recreate my screenshots using my game art in Photoshop.

@Braydon_SFX mentioned,my screenshot program can produce all the sizes needed for release but this simply resizes the current image so if you don't have a good image to start with, it won't benefit you. But if you want a copy of it, just PM me and I'll happily send you over a copy @Manto

I've gotten into the habit of creating my own screen shots in photoshop from my game art as well. Not only do they look better you can compose exactly the content you want.
