Cant get score count to work with key press (SOLVED)

Title says it all. I cant seem to figure out why the score doesn't increase with each key press. The displayed score stays at 0.

Looks correct to me. Is the score being constrained somewhere?

tried that and I've used different keys as well.

the only thing that involve the score anywhere, are the 3 images in the post. when i test run the game, it just says 0 and never counts up. This seems pretty simple to me, so i don't know what is happening.

Is the actor that has the rules actually on the scene?

If it is, try deleting it and adding it again.

What version of Creator are you using? If you're still on 13.40 you should consider updating to the 1.x version as many preview issues have been fixed including the focus issue I assume you are having.

If you haven't updated yet, make sure you click the window to give it focus before you try and press keys.

The actor that added the score, wasn't on screen. It all works now, thanks .
