Map / Level editor - and/or plug-ins?
Hi,
I know these would probably be very low on the priorities list but I really think supporting a map/level editor (like Tiled Map Editor - http://www.mapeditor.org) would be massively helpful for many reasons. Tiled Map Editor supports exporting XML (http://doc.mapeditor.org/reference/tmx-map-format/) which shouldn't be massively difficult to map onto a scene? Even if when creating the level in Tiled Map Editor you use the correct actor names for each object.. Just having the ability to edit maps externally and even by someone else.. Currently, creating a tiled map (ortho or isometric) is a bit of a pain in GS.
I'm sure this has been requested many times before, but having some kind of plug-in infrastructure in GS could lead to some excellent 3rd party tool support (and bugs, incompatibilities, yes.). Just imagine having auto-updating .svg loader (which converts into a bitmap), a code snippet repository or map/level loader for instance.
Just thoughts..

Cool @Socks ! Wasn't aware that @Manto had made that tool! Having some issues with latest OS X but posted it on that thread.
I'm trying to figure what issues I'd come against if I used this tool for an isometric map, what do you think?
That would depend on how you are setting up your isometric world, there are a number of ways.
One of my favorite fruits.
