Big problem with images on Android

My game Jump Jack has been submitted for review by apple, and I have been trying to get a working version on android. I borrowed a friends nexus 7 and another's nexus 10. Things worked great on the 7 after I removed display text behaviors during game play (kind of a bummer but it works) then I tried it on the Nexus 10 and while things play smoothly, I am getting this weird issue where graphics go in and out of displaying weirdly. The blacks turn orange, the lights turn white and the mid tones turn red. It can flicker in and out of this. I tried builds with RI turned on and off, using stretch and using letterbox, nothing fixes it. All the graphics are the correct resolution, double the size for RI.
Any ideas?

Weird. I've asked around to see if anyone has seen that before. What were the issues with DisplayText?

If you could PM me a publishing link we can try and see what's up.

As for the display text, when I first put my game on android it ran very choppy. I did some research on the forums and found people saying display text causing weird issues on android. Took out display text during gameplay, and it ran much better, I also took out the majority of particles during gameplay on android and it ran a bit better also. So my android version is a stripped down version of the game, still plays the same just missing some of the added details.

I'll send you a PM of the publishing link however it is a huge project I have been working on for two years, so good luck navigating it, it all makes sense to me though ;)

I have tried this on three devices, a Nexus 7, Nexus 10, and my sons Nabi Tablet. Only see this issue on the Nexus 10 so far

  • also, thanks for looking into it, I really appreciate it.
