Any complete tutorial for score system?

Hey guys,
Is there any complete tutorial or series of tutorials for score system?
i mean saving high score,displaying it at one or more place(for example in main menu) and while opening the game loading the score attribute back after exiting the game.
Please post some accurate tutorials below.
