Hi guys!
I have a question:
I have read dissenting views (on steam forum) on the publishing to steam with Gamesalad.
Can I publish my game for pc/linux/mac on Steam platform?
Thank you in advance!

today? I don't think so. certainly not for pc or linux. Mac MIGHT be possible, but I don't think so.
They have stated that standalone exe's are coming down the pineline, which should allow PC, but there is no ETA on that.

So, have you make this game with GS?
Yes I have. I've not really pushed for votes because I have no idea when GS will get Steam functionality (and I mean not just publishing, but including Steam Workshop stuff as well).
It'll get greenlit eventually. I hope the GS boys and girls are ready!

Well, on a positive note, some of the work we've done recently includes a standalone Windows EXE capability. So Steam on that platform isn't too far out of the question. Good times!
@CodeWizard Good to hear
This is great news! Hope we don't have to wait long to see this appear in a GS build.
Just Chartboost Reward Videos to go, and I'll be very happy indeed!...
That would be great for places like itchio, but for steam you need extra stuff like achievements and card drops etc etc. I look forward to that!

is it done?
There hasn't been any new work on the Windows EXE support. I don't suspect we'll get to that until after we finish the new tool. In the short term, you can take an HTML5 version of the game and use HTML5 executable wrapper to create a game.
