Bugs in viewer? Can I still go to Ad Hoc?

Hey guys,
I'm at the point where I'm testing my finished app and I set up the iOS viewer on my phone but when I run it, I'm getting several bugs that don't occur in the creator preview (e.g. actor positions completely incorrect, etc.) and I was wondering if you guys think it would be worth it to go through the publishing process to test it Ad Hoc instead of with GS Viewer?

Also I have this weird bug that I can't for the life of me resolve.

Touch interaction works correctly from the left side of the screen but the more I try to touch things toward the right hand side of the screen the more it doesn't work. For example if I am trying to touch an actor which is 20 pixels from the left, if I touch where that actor is, that actors "touch" rules get fired off.

But if I am trying to touch an actor just over halfway across the screen (so it is more on the right side) I have to touch almost at the very right edge for the actors "touch" rules to fire.

I hope I made sense with that lol

Anyone heard of that issue or know how to fix?

Oh and the app is created under iPad Landscape Size and is being tested on iPhone 6 Landscape (and I set up a universal build so it should work right?)

Thanks!

Daniel

the viewer is a little buggy sometimes, try shutting the viewer when its buggy, then select 'recent games' and play again.

I would suggest hunting down and installing the USB drivers for your android device so you can use USB. I wouldn't really want to rely on ADB's wifi capabilities.

It is ALWAYS worth it to test via Ad Hoc on the platforms you are targeting. Preview and the Viewers, while close, are not true representations of your final app.

@rvantilborg I've tried that and the issue is still there

@QASalad I'm not entirely sure what you mean exactly. I'm using an iPhone 6 with GS Viewer to test.

I think I'll publish it and everything to test it Ad Hoc and see if the issues are still present.

    @QASalad @rvantilborg

OK so I've published it and added it to my iPhone for testing and the issues are still there.

Neither of the issues appear when testing in the creator (preview) but only in GS Viewer or on my phone via Ad Hoc.

I've done a lot of 'googling' and no one else has seemed to have had this problem so I'm not sure what to do

Ok guys never mind after many hours and one massive facepalm I figured out the issue and resolved it. It was simply just an error in my universal build settings. Not sure why it wasn't showing in the creator preview but it's fixed now!

    Thanks for the help guys!
