Why does actor become a black square on android

So in my game, there is an actor which is a supposed to be a pink gem (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.AcousticGames.dodgetheblocks). When I run it on gamesalad, everything works perfectly, all the actors look perfect and everything. However, when I play the game on an android device (only platform it is published on), those gems suddenly just become black squares, why is this?

I had a similar thing occur on iOS device, but my actor turned into a white square. I never found out why but the work around for me was if I replaced the actor with a new version of the actor it tended to work fine.
