Hey guys,
If I want to downgrade to a earlier version of GS, do I just uninstall, download and install the earlier version?

If you opened the project you'll have to alter the xml file

I believe its if you save the project?
Don't quote me on that though
Gaahh ok, sounds a bit complicated...Maybe there is an explanation on the forums somewhere.
Thanks @Lost_Oasis_Games
Not on all versions. If you just want to roll back to 0.13.33 (which is the last known stable(ish) version) you are fine. Just open it up in 0.13.33 it'll open and save fine without modifying the XML file.
Sweet! Thanks! So just a uninstall and reinstall?
I am just running 2 versions at the same time but only opening 0.13.33. You should be able to just uninstall it and install 0.13.33 but thats not what Im currently doing so don't want to miss inform you. Do you have 0.13.33? I think @Armelline posted a link somewhere today if you don't have it.
To clarify, earlier versions of GS are available (someone will have a copy somewhere), but files are not backward compatible, this is true of any software not just GS, so a file you've been working on in [for example] version 100 (with features only available in version 100) will o course not open in version 50.
I never upgrade GS, I always download the new version and simply add it to previous versions . . .
Liar
On a Mac, just stick the new version in another folder or rename it and you can then plop the version you want in your Applications folder and run it. No need to uninstall anything.
You can run multiple versions of GameSalad at once with no issue.
All versions since 0.13.33 and I'm pretty sure a few versions before can open all projects made in later versions, so you'll not have to edit any XML files, not unless you want to roll all the way back to 0.12.10 or something.

0.12.10 is where the action's at, all the cool kids use 0.12.10.
You missed the question mark in Zweg statement.
He is not a liar.
I was joking.. I reworded him
Haha, my apologies
Then I better hurry up and downgrade
