The Marketplace

Why exactly did the marketplace change to a different website? I miss the old marketplace. Will it ever come back or is this a permanent thing now.

And just a side note, I think it would be cool to have the marketplace (if brought back) put into gamesalad itself for quick access, just like Unity does with their asset store.

It seems like the new one more professional and more free stuff ;) and I think you can sell templates there as well

I did not realize that you could sell on there. I just don't like the UI and UX

It's 1000x easier to find stuff on the new marketplace than it was on the old, not sure what's not to like :D

I will not support GShelper. The folks behind it are very unprofessional in the business decisions and attitude. Would not recommend buy/selling them to anyone. Website is easier to navigate than the old one though. I will stick with buying from DBA since it is now back up online. Just my thoughts.

Hi there! We'd love to get some feedback from you on how we can improve. We're always looking to make sure we support and listen to this awesome community!

    Feel free to PM me!

I've found GSHelper to be helpful, friendly and professional.

I'd also like to add that I did receive a PM from @TWO.E with respective, constructive criticism. The message was well thought out and did not attack the marketplace, but rather showed how we could improve which is what we're always striving to do. Thanks for the message, @TWO.E !

I disagree, Braydon_SFX has steadfastly refused to host TonyTheSpider™ on GSHelper as a game asset, he has made various questionable excuses as to why, first he said it was because my PNG file was 12.6 GB, which he claimed was "too big" (the sheer detail of the hairs on TonyTheSpider's legs requires at least 42,800ppi), he then said the fact that the pose in which I had drawn TonyTheSpider™ - and the act he was preforming - would mean the asset would be illegal to sell in most jurisdictions, I offered to paint over the offending parts, but was then told (and I quote): "Even if Tony can be made legal by redacting the more risqué elements of his anatomy, there is still the issue of the whole Hitler moustache and fringe on a spider thing". These people simply don't know what the market wants.

@Socks The simple solution seems to be to post TonyTheSpider™ as a free asset hosted at Mega or somewhere that accepts big files, so at the very least he gets shared with the world, even if you don't get to roll around in money. What's more important here, your artistic integrity or money?

Money, obviously, and also pasta, I'm a big fan of pasta.

Thank you for your continued support, I am going to see if removing another couple of legs from Tony will help ease his passage, but from what I can tell Braydon just wants to keep the whole transgender-fascist-spider-assets market to himself.

I have about 30 things on there, two of which are featured, one free and one paid. You had an entire category on the front page for weeks. Stop moaning.

(iLeaf has 10 featured on the front page currently, JasonNester has 3, Boogygames has 3, Gingagaming has 2. Let's be realistic here, your issue isn't my two features, your issue is you losing your front page spot to iLeaf. You are still the only 3rd party seller with your own section in the "Templates" dropdown menu though.)

@Braydon_SFX is there a way to allow rating assets from buyers...or to leave comments ? I have only one real "beef" with not having those options....specifically the Bejemmed template. Although it has a disclaimer "built for iPhone 5"...I as well as at least 3 others I know of bought that template at least believing it could be published with the "stretch option"....however it will not work that way. And so at least 2 of them paid others to fix this issue. So now we have fixed versions but obviously can't sell it as a modified template. Just being able to leave a comment by someone like myself (purchased) could warn people about this....might lose a sale but I don't feel anyone wants to buy a template for a nice chunk of change to only have to pay more than purchase price to have it fixed. The description even states it will be a new version coming soon.

Of course again this is one instance..and of course this is the risk of buying templates.

Not asking for a website revamp of course...just a way to rate/comment would be a really nice feature. I believe back when we all thought GS was going to make a new marketplace....there were tons of suggestions and I'm not sure the market being moved to an established site really made those suggestions worth having been made. I can appreciate you asking if there is any way we feel it could be better...I think mine would be a nice touch....doing so put the seller more in touch with the buyer...otherwise those discussions sometimes end up in the forums which I can say has not always turned out best for either party

I do like your site though over all.

Of course! I think we had this functionality and as I went to look to make sure it was working, I found out that it's been disabled. We'll get that sorted out shortly. We do value comments on templates - both those that are praising the template and those that are suggesting how to improve it - so that our customers know exactly what they are getting.

Thanks for the comment and suggestion!

I'll speak to his lawyer, from what I understand if the local school decides not to press charges he could be out before Christmas, so the tour could be a soon as Jan/Feb.

Who said he didn't? And I wasn't aware I was guessing anything in the first place, but sure, I'll guess again. I guess 46.

Thunder_Child reviews should be available again across the site. Let me know if you come across any that don't have the Review tab and i'll sort it out right away.

Sweet thanks both of you @uptimistik and @Braydon_SFX

The only thing Jarred has going for him now? He will get all the 6 inch and foot longs he can eat.

Like @FINNBOGG suggests, with regard to Jarred, legally speaking 'the soap has been dropped'.

Jared was not sticking to the subway diet. All he had to do is eat sandwiches, get paid and not have s*x with kids. Now he will get much more than 5 dollar specials.
